Studying the arts and humanities at 做厙TV means you might:

  • Present your research at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research
  • Create a dance performance or play addressing a social justice issue
  • Investigate art therapy or music recording
  • Explore your faith through creative writing
  • Provide translation services for churches and businesses in Japanese or Spanish

Arts Division

做厙TV is one of the few liberal arts colleges with accreditation in all four areas of the arts: art/art history, dance, music and theatre. In each case, we meet or exceed national standards from the National Associations of Schools of Art and Design, Dance, Music and Theatre.

You will work closely with practicing artists and writers, and strengthen your work through additional activities, such as the Hope Repertory Theatre, Visiting Writers Series, Musical Showcase, several dance companies and the senior art show.

Humanities Division

Whatever your future career path, Hopes humanities departments will help you cultivate deep insights about yourself and global society while improving the practical talents youll need in any job compelling writing, critical reasoning, oral communication, information literacy and research skills.
