Women’s and Gender Studies provides a critical, interdisciplinary and cross-cultural understanding of women, gender and power in a global context.
Focusing on the social inequalities that result from interlocking oppressions, you will discover and produce knowledge from feminist perspectives and link your academic pursuit with a call to activism. Within the context of the historic Christian faith, you'll learn to:
- Think more critically about your own lives
- Value complexity, diversity and difference
- Mobilize feminist theories
- Become agents of justice in the world
