Text Messaging Terms of Service
TV (the “College”) provides a text messaging service (the “Service”) to prospective students and any others that may choose to participate (“You”) for the purpose of facilitating student recruitment/admissions processes. The College may operate the Service either directly or through a third-party designate. Any/all rights granted by You via these Terms may also be assigned to such third parties at the College’s discretion.
Your enrollment or use of the Service constitutes agreement to these Terms as well as the TV Admissions Text Messaging Privacy Statement (the “Statement”). The College may amend these Terms, the Statement, and modify or cancel the Service without notice. Enrollment in the Service is not a guarantee that You will receive text messages from the College and the College reserves the right to cancel some or all text alert elections applicable to Your account at any time.
You agree to provide the College with a valid mobile number and that the College may send You text messages to that number through Your wireless provider. Prior to completing Your enrollment in the Service the College will send a verification text message to Your designated mobile number. To complete enrollment, You must confirm receipt of the text message from Your device by following the instructions in that text message.
Standard message and data rates may apply for any messages sent or received. Hope College does not charge for any text messages it sends however You are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging that may be imposed by Your wireless service provider. Contact Your service provider for details on specific fees and charges that may apply. TV is not liable for delayed or undeliverable messages.
