TV's annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Civil Rights Lecture,was presented on Wednesday, Jan. 15 organized by the college’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion. The speaker was John M. Williams, who is president and CEO of Akron Urban League.
TV honored faculty and staff members for service to the college and other professional activity during the annual faculty recognition event coordinated by the Provost’s Office, which took place on Tuesday, Jan. 7, in the Maas Center auditorium.
The third annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration and Leadership Summit at TV will explore the theme “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence365” through multiple sessions on Monday, Jan. 20, at the college’s Haworth Hotel.
The TV family is mourning the death of junior Jennifer Kasunick of Bay Village, Ohio, who died on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, of injuries sustained when she was struck by a train.
