Prevention Education

°µÍøTV’s violence prevention education program works to build the capacity of the campus community to prevent violence, support survivors and shift our community culture to one of care, consent and respect.

Sexual, relationship and domestic violence affects each of us. °µÍøTV is committed to being a welcoming, vibrant and caring community for all of our community members providing an educational environment free from discrimination and violence.

Although we are making progress toward ending violence on our campus, there is much work to do. You can help prevent violence in our community and support our mission by learning more and getting involved in violence prevention efforts.

This includes recognizing potential harmful behaviors and situations, recognizing barriers or obstacles to intervening, identifying safe and effective options for intervening, and taking action to intervene
Responding to Disclosures & Supporting Survivors
Did you know that the first person most survivors disclose their story to is a peer or trusted adult in their life and not a professional? In this training, you will have the opportunity to learn how to navigate these difficult conversations in order to support individuals who have experienced sexual violence and connect them to supportive resources.
