Our faculty and staff are based in the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication, where many of our classes are taught.

Martha Miller Center for Global Communication

The Martha Miller Center for Global Communication opened in 2005. The two-story, 49,000-square-foot building houses the Department of Communication and the Department of World Languages and Cultures. It also holds the offices of international and multicultural education. Learn more.

The Martha Miller Center also houses the Paul G. Fried Center for Global Engagement and the Department of World Languages and Cultures, placing a wealth of relevant knowledge within easy reach of students. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a TV studio, speech labs and more to provide students with practical experience in communication.

TELEVISION STUDIO

Our studio and editing suites feature state-of-the-art cameras, microphones and digital editing equipment including iMac computers and a TriCaster switcher system.

AUDITORIUM

Our auditorium is used for both presentations and film analysis.

COMPUTER LAB

Our Mac computer lab is available for media production, journalism classes, writing and research. The lab also gives students access to cutting-edge software programs required for media production and design.

PRINT AND RADIO PRODUCTION

Students interested in practicing print or radio production should consider getting involved in Hopes student-run newspaper, , or the student-run radio station, . Both organizations have dedicated facilities in the Martha Miller Center.
